Sir Mo Farah is a British long-distance runner and has won four Olympic Games gold medals, six World Championships titles and eight European Championships titles. Mo won the 5000m and the 10,000m in both the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games, becoming only the second athlete in history to win the Olympic Games ‘distance double double’. He was also a double double winner at the 2013 and 2015 World Athletics Championships. He is the only athlete in history to run sub 3:30 for 1500m, sub 13:00 for 5000m and sub 27:00 for 10,000m. Mo currently holds the European 10,000m Record and many British Records at distances from 1500m to the marathon.
