There is so much talk about mental health and wellbeing right now, with the Covid-19 pandemic thankfully moving it up the agenda for many organisations and employers.

Emotional intelligence is one of the keys to wellbeing. By prioritising, and developing the skills associated with emotional intelligence we can protect and promote good mental health and wellbeing and help to create the right environment for others to do so too.

This session explores the connection between emotional intelligence and wellbeing and the key skills for building emotional intelligence.

By attending this session delegates should be able to:

  • Explain the relationship between emotional intelligence and wellbeing
  • Describe the skills associated with emotional intelligence
  • Outline how to develop the skills associated with emotional intelligence
  • Summarise how to future proof their mental health by building the key skills for emotional intelligence
