Unlocking the Power of Data to Drive Results For Your Insurance Business
Data is playing an increasingly important role for virtually every business, and the insurance industry is no exception. Brokers are entrusted with their customer’s most valuable information, with 42% of UK brokers listing data quality concerns as the top challenge with their existing technology (result taken from Novidea’s recent global report 2024).
Insurers and brokers have vast repositories of data, but only leverage a fraction of it. Many times this valuable information is stored in disparate systems, or is totally inaccessible. Other times the data is there, but they lack the technology to utilise it.
The insurance organisations that are using data effectively, are doing so with the help of technology and platforms that can help them both access and analyse it. This data can be used to not only better place risks and improve customer service, but also to improve internal efficiencies such as the automation of task lists for brokers, pick up of renewals, monitoring of premiums and automated workflows to help keep staff operating to regulatory standards. Brokers need to look at how they are utilising the valuable information they have and making sure it is secure. They should also ask themselves whether their current technology is holding them back from scaling and digitalising their business.
By attending this presentation delegates should be able to
• Create a customer centric view of your business
• Learn how technology can support a scalable operating mode
• Understand how to leverage data to grow the business by providing better customer experience
• Explore the key UK insurance findings from the Novidea Global Report 2024
