iCAN stands for the Insurance Cultural Awareness Network. We are the first UK-based, industry-wide independent network that supports multicultural inclusion and progression across the insurance sector. We formed iCAN in 2017 with the aim of promoting multicultural inclusion and progression within our sector. We have now grown to over 10,000+ members and are supported by over 60 sponsors from across the industry. We have 3 main programmes: mentoring and training (iCAN INspire), recruitment and careers (iCAN Apply), and iCAN Connect – our support service for organisational DEI strategies including Employee Resource Groups. We also host regular networking, business and cultural celebration events and have recently expanded outside of London to launch our regional hubs in Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol and New York.
