Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) is a multi-award-winning fundraising and awareness raising campaign led by Alzheimer’s Society and championed by leaders from the insurance sector. The IUAD campaign is a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone living with dementia – with the aim to raise crucial funds to provide Help & Hope to people living with dementia and to raise significant awareness of the condition with colleagues across the industry. Almost £12 million has been raised by activity enabled by the campaign and its supporters since 2017 with an ambition to raise £20 million by 2030. By raising awareness of dementia within the industry, IUAD is ensuring that everyone in the industry knows that they can turn to Alzheimer’s Society for support, and that firms know how they can take steps to provide better support to those affected by dementia.
