MIB is a not-for-profit organisation that exists to protect people from the devastation of uninsured and hit-and-run drivers.  We believe no one whose life has been changed by an uninsured or hit-and run driver should be left without the support they deserve. We compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately.   

Launched in 2025, ‘Accelerating to Zero’ is MIB’s commitment to make roads safer by ending uninsured driving for good.

The five-year strategy will consist of a number of initiatives and rely on strong partnerships within the insurance industry, police, government and other key partners, underpinned by four key areas:
