Traci Boland
Traci Boland
Traci Boland’s path to insurance leadership didn’t start in a brokerage—it began in law and security, with plans to become a police officer, and in high-performance sport as a synchronized skating coach. During her coaching career, one of her teams became Canadian National Champions, at the same time she was offered opportunities to coach in Helsinki, Finland, or skate with Disney on Ice. Choosing coaching, she went on to work in Helsinki, Finland for Team Finland followed by a move to Cleveland, Ohio, coaching for Team USA. After 9/11, Traci made the decision to return to Canada. Unsure of her next chapter after years of professional coaching, she joined her father’s insurance brokerage—where she found her team again, this time developing young brokers and future leaders. That call to leadership led her to volunteer locally, provincially, and nationally eventually serving as Past Chair of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario, Past Chair and Governor of Insurance Brokers Association of Canada, and Canada’s representative to the World Federation of Insurance Intermediaries in 2024 and 2025. Today, Traci is a Partner at Ontario West Insurance Brokers in London, Ontario—winners of Best of London 2025 and Community Votes Bronze. She was named one of the Top 100 Insurance Professionals worldwide and to Canada’s Top Insurance Leaders Hot List in 2025.
